The Katy location serves as UT Quality’s office and facility center. As one of the key hubs for offshore projects in the western hemisphere, we are able to collaborate, coordinate, and manage every aspect of what we do from one spot. Additionally, we are able to provide AUT, welding, and FJ coating development and qualifications in-house.

What We Do
Nondestructive Testing Services
Advanced NDT
UT Quality specializes in advanced NDT techniques like its patented AUT system, UT Scan, which combines multiple NDT technologies in a single inspection. UT Quality also offers the full spectrum of other advanced NDT methods including computed radiography (CR), direct radiography (DR), real-time radiography (RTR), amongst other commonly used systems.
Conventional NDT
Conventional NDT techniques, such as radiography (RT), manual ultrasonic testing (UT), liquid penetrant testing (PT), magnetic particle testing (MPT) and more, are all standard services UT Quality provides.
AUT Equipment
UT SCan
UT Scan is a hybrid unit that combines phased array with conventional time-of-flight diffraction (ToFD) and basic pulse-echo technologies in a single inspection, providing unparalleled detection accuracy.

UT Quality is a subsidiary company of RAE Energy, Inc. and is primarily responsible for all global onshore and offshore pipeline and facility inspection projects.
UT Quality works closely Prime NDT Services, Inc., also a RAE company, to provide global offshore NDT.
Other shared services UT Quality can offer through RAE is global pipeline welding and field-joint coating services.
