Deep Sea Abration Collars
The Deep Sea Sleeve® is a unique permanent outer cladding made of either polyethylene or polypropylene especially suited for deep water projects. It contains no additives or fillers which can leach out over time and cause embrittlement. It is designed to withstand unlimited water depths. The outer sleeve is circumferentially IntrafuseT welded to the parent factory coating and along the longitudinal overlap to create the annulus for the Densiflex® (SPU) thermal insulation. The cycle time for this application (including Densiflex® thermal insulation) is approximately 3.5 minutes for all pipe outer diameters.
